I have been asked to pass this along at work, so thought this place would be appropriate.
Hello,
I am on a research team at the University of Washington, and we are studying barriers
that people who are blind and low vision encounter on a daily basis, and the strategies
they use to overcome these barriers. We are also studying current technology usage.
We have developed a short, 20 minute, survey asking questions relevant to the above
research questions and are seeking participants to respond.
Participants must be blind or low vision and at least 18 years of age.
If you fill out our survey, you will have the opportunity to enter into a drawing
to win 1 of 5 $20 Amazon gift cards.
The survey can be found at
https://catalyst.uw.edu/webq/survey/jrporter/207493
All of the questions on this survey are completely voluntary. You may choose to stop
the survey at any time by closing your internet browser and none of your responses
will be saved. You may also choose to skip any question that you do not wish to answer.
You will not be treated differently based on how much you choose to respond or whether
you choose to take the survey at all.
Survey responses will be kept confidential, and any identifying information gathered

I started but quit: blah too many text boxes asking for subjective shit so. Best leave it for people who like to expostulate on those sorts of things. I'm sure it'll be useful to somebody.

I love these surveys that say they won't keep any identifying infor, than offer you the chance to get a gift.
Well, soon as you say how they should contact you to receive that gift? Lol

Oh wayne, with a background in psychology I can assure you they will not use your info for anything else. They can, it is illegal.

Dear heart Brittany.
with a backbround in life, and several case studies, I can assure you it is possible, legal, or not.
I'm not saying this will be the case with this survey, I am just making a fun observation.
For $25, I might take the chance. Lol

Heck, they aren't even promising me the 25, just a chance. I still might. Lol
I'm not trying to make anyone afraid of this, I was just in a silly mode, and well being Forereel?

Well the important thing to remember is that this is a research project being conducted by students who are trying to better themselves blind or not. They are doing research to hopefully some where in the world make it better for people who are visually impaired. So do it and stop complaining lol! You don't have to, but just think about your dear friend Brittany. About two years ago I was a desparate student, trying to conduct a senior thesis project and you would want people to help me right?
Ok, don't answer that either lol!

Right.
Not answered. I can't keep anything I was given. Smile.
